Urgent – Product Recall
This recall involves the DeBond Marine Formula which is a chemical used to remove adhesives and sealants used on and inside a boat. DeBond Marine Formula was sold in four types of containers with the following descriptions:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled units of DeBond Marine Formula and should contact the DeBond Corporation for instructions on how to receive a full refund.
Hazard identified
The consumer products do not have proper hazard labelling required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. Improper labelling could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.
DeBond Marine Formula was sold at marinas, marine facilities and marine repair shops from March 6, 2009 until October 16, 2017.
As of October 23rd, 2017 neither Health Canada nor the DeBond Corporation has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
